Madeline Rae was born at 8:01 on 8/16/06 and was 19 3/4". She weighed 6 lbs, 1 oz.

12/29/06 update. Michael weighs in at 14lbs 4.5 oz, and Maddie weighs 13lbs 4.5 oz.

12/16 Update 4 Months Old ! Michael weighs 13lbs 10oz and Maddie weighs 12lbs 13 oz

NOVEMBER 06

11/1/06 Update: at 11 weeks, Michael weighs 11lbs 4oz and Madeline weighs 10lbs. 7.5 oz

OCTOBER 06

10/27/06 update Wed was their 10 week birthday. Madeline weighed in at 10 lbs, 4oz. Michael weighs 10 lbs, 14 oz. Both are still only in the 15th percentile for their age, but are slowly moving up. Beginning to smile and laugh a little.

10/05/06 update OK, we haven't posted in a while as Michael has had some gastrointestinal issues. He's has 2 prescriptions for reflux - Prevacid and Zegerid. We're adding about 1 and a half tablespoons oatmeal cereal to 3 oz formula. Formula change number 6 is to Nestles Good Start soy formula. Weight gain was a problem for both. They were gaining only 2 oz. per week not the recommended 8 oz (half a pound). The Pediatric Gastroenterologist said to add rice cereal but Michael couldn't handle that so we went to the oatmeal for both. Last week they each gained about 9 oz. so we're FINALLY on our way.

10/3/06 Update: At 7 weeks, Michael weighs 8lbs, 12oz and Madeline weighs 8 lbs. 9oz
